PRESS STATEMENT: Condemnation of the Gruesome Massacre in Kauru LGA, Kaduna State

This senseless and unwarranted violence against innocent citizens is unacceptable and must never become the new normal in our nation. No Nigerian should have to live in fear of being killed, displaced, or terrorized in their own homeland.

The continuous loss of innocent lives is a painful reminder that insecurity remains one of the greatest challenges confronting our country. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and to the affected communities. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone grieving this tragic and avoidable loss.

A Call for Immediate Accountability

I call on the Federal Government, security agencies, and all relevant authorities to immediately apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators of this heinous crime. Justice must not only be done but must be seen to be done. The culture of impunity that emboldens criminals must come to an end.

Furthermore, I urge the government at all levels to take decisive and proactive measures to protect lives and property across Nigeria. Every community deserves security, peace, and the assurance that their government will defend them against criminal elements, irrespective of their identity or affiliation. The sanctity of human life must remain paramount.
